Description
After pickup at your hotel in Santo Domingo or Punta Cana 6:00 a.m. We will drive to the port of Samana, board a catamaran and put on a life jacket to enter the bay of Samaná.
During the journey, we will enjoy one of the most exciting experiences that can be had in the north of the Dominican Republic. Can you guess what it is? Whale watching! We will stop in the middle of the sea while we wait for the humpback whales to come to the surface.
Do you know why this corner of the Caribbean is one of the ideal places to carry out this activity? Every year, between January and March, about 3,000 humpback whales breed in these warm waters. You will be left speechless!
Next, we will continue with the route heading to Cayo Levantado, a small islet that seems straight out of a dream. Once there, we will disembark and leave you five hours of free time to relax on one of its paradisiacal beaches. Crystal clear water, white sand, what more do you want?
And after enjoying a buffet lunch on the beach, we will return to the catamaran. We will be back at the starting point between 5:45 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.
