Your adventure begins with a scenic boat ride from Sabana de la Mar to Samaná Bay. Upon arrival, you’ll embark on an exciting horseback ride to the majestic Limón Waterfall. Standing 50 meters tall, this waterfall features a natural pool surrounded by lush tropical rainforest, perfect for a refreshing dip.
Next, you’ll board a safari truck for a tour of the historic city of Samaná, discovered by Christopher Columbus in 1493. During the tour, you’ll learn about its rich history and the first encounter between Europeans and natives.
After the city tour, you’ll enjoy a Dominican buffet at a countryside restaurant, featuring a variety of local dishes and fresh tropical fruits. Then, you’ll head to Cayo Levantado, also known as “Bacardi Island,” where you’ll have free time to relax on its white sandy beaches and turquoise waters.
