Drive to a locally-owned ranch located in the small village called Benerito. Get a short explanation regarding the safety rules of buggy-riding and start your adventure. Ride across huge sugar cane fields, learn about the sugar industry and even taste some sugar cane.

Come across a small village called Batey, where the sugar cane workers live. Go for a swim in the river before discovering a plantation of various tropical species. You’ll visit a traditional home to taste local products, such as manioc and plantains.

Later on, drive to a nice spot along the river to enjoy a traditional Dominican meal with a panoramic view of the jungle. After lunch, walk to a platform boat for a trip down the river to admire the beauty of the scenery from up close and swim some more if you choose to.
